Learn from book or thru experience

Hehe... Davina Didi (refer to My friends and family link on the right) put a very interesting topic about reading from the book or learning through life experience. Which I have to AGREE 100% that we cannot learn about life or human behaviour nor attitude from just a book... What the book is about is just what the Author's experience or research.

Behaviour or attitude is a very complex thing. So is the feeling called LOVE. You can never experience love by reading a book, nor reading a book on how to court girls can guarantee you that you can "pikat" a girl 100% without fail. Book such as "Guys are from Mars and Girls are from Venus" only tell the readers in general the difference between guy and girl. But are all the girls are in the same category?? The answer is NO!! But, there is just some guys, that can never ever know this? Why you ask me? I had no idea. I feel like plucking every hair i got on my head but what's the point. Like what ah ko said, a leapord can never get rid of its spots. Ah ge will always remain as ah ge. ;)

So, the advice, reading from a book does have its advantages (cannot say don't have at all), but it's just to give you a general idea. And TAT'S ALL. Nothing more nothing less. Do not (never ever) live your life just base on a book that you read. Experience it.... Then only will you able to judge/comment the book. Only then you will know how different the book is from your REAL Experience.

Last but not least: Live your life fully... by experiencing it with your heart... not through a book by your brain...

Hahaha .. I agree too with what you say.. There is no way we can link one person's life with another person's life experience ..

But the minority just won't get the meaning!

and apparently we are link to the same minority.. ;)

Reading books can lead you to think at diferent angle as it is other's people point of view

It is just avoid that we always think at a single angle/single way

I agree that reading books lead u to think in a different angle but it's not applicable to everyone. That is just for referencing only.. cannot be fully dependent on books only.

Ya.. rainbow

Agree with you as it is for referencing only as it will provide a guide only and it is not an absolute soluiton for everything
