Lancome Perfume Sample (La vie est belle)

Went and redeemed this Lancome perfume sample. Try it but unfortunately, the smell is not my taste. The smell is more towards citrus fruity strong smell, where as I prefer floral smell instead of fruity smell.

Christmas 2012 from Little Rainbow

This year Christmas not much celebration due to my "condition". Nevertheless, me and my hubby went out for a nice and long movie "The Hobbit". The movie is not bad in my opinion, just that why oh why, must it be a trilogy? Meaning, after this movie, for the next 2 years, I will have to catch up with it else it will be wasteful watching the first part. 

Christmas gift

After the movie, we went in search for our presents. Hehe.. His is .... "secret". But very practical, and he seems to be very proud of his "no wasting" lifestyle. But for me, as every girl out there, we like something which might not be very practical (like we have a lot of it already but we still never seems to get enough, eg: bags, shoes, jewellery etc).

After walking around the spring shopping mall for nearly 2 hours, I finally decided on my gift. And it is Crabtree & Evelyn hand lotion. :) Since it's festive season, there is a lot of promotion going on and all the gifts are pack and wrap up nicely.

L'occitane and Estee Lauder Sample

This month I managed to get samples from both L'occitane and Estee Lauder. The sample can be redeem at the Spring. How do you redeem the sample, just go to their facebook and follow the instructions there.

My FM Kuching

Went out for lunch one afternoon and luck was on our side and me and my colleagues when My FM team was just on the same block giving out gifts.

Cornetto Keychain

For those of you who ate a Cornetto ice cream before, had any of you notice the lid? My colleague and I had an ice cream each one working day and I notice that there is some contest going on. So, I just sms in the number and that's all.

A month later, I received the above parcel. I was curious at first because I remember clearly I didn't order any package online. When I open it, I finally remembered the 2 smses that I sent out the previous month.

I won a key chain. Well, I was hoping to win a ipad or iphone, but with only 2 entries, I doubt the organiser will give me the grand prize. So, I was content to have win at least something.

Coca Cola Can Glass

The first thing we do when we touched down at LCCT is to find a McDonald shop and sat in there had some snacks while waiting for our bus to arrive. Finally, I had my own Coca Cola Can Glass from McD, Happy happy!!

I am actually aiming for the blue colour one, but what to do. Fate has it that I will ordered McD on 19-May when I'm flying over to KL and thus, the glass is pink colour.

Which resulted in a series of pink colour shopping loots that I brought home from KL. (Longchamp & Luggage)

EHS week

Our company just had our EHS (Environment, Health and Safety) week on the last week of March. The organization organized a small quiz for all the employees of the company.

I took the quiz and submitted another on Ah Phui's behalf. The result was out last week, guess what?! I won a RM20 kfc/pizza voucher. Lol...

Total RM40. Yay!!

But one of my colleague did comment that they should had given out other vouchers instead of KFC/Pizza and this fast food is not beneficial to our health.

Clarins Free Gifts

Clarins had just set up a facebook account online. Thus, to promote Clarins, it's giving out free sample to those who just register.

I just redeemed mine last Saturday. The red packaging is really cute. It's small, around the size of a female's palm. And inside, it contains 3 small tubes.

I had specially create a new blog, call "Free stuffs and sample" so that people who are interest in certain product can obtains a sample if it's available online. Free Tupperware

Thursday noon time, I decided to go KFC has my lunch instead. Since someone is buying my meal, I think hey, since that morning was so hectic, why not have a nice lunch to set the mood back to good.

Unknown to us, while we are having lunch, a bunch of young looking kids, wearing a 1 Malaysia T-shirt, came in and started giving out 'red packet' to us.

The red packet. I heard about this free giveaway from a colleague already but I never really experience it. Finally I had my own red packet.

The red packet actually contained 1 A3 poster of our current PM (for the coming Sarawak Election) and 1 beautiful Tupperware. The only thing attracts me is the tupperware to be frank.

Nay, the Tupperware. If you really don't like the 1M logo, you can peel it off. It's just a sticker sticking on the bottle.

Krtek - The Mole all the way from Prague!

Yippee!!! Mike bought me a magnet allllllllllllllll the way from Prague, Czech Republic. So cute, at first I thought it was a black penguin. Turn out it's actually a mole. This cartoon character is very famous at Czech.

Below is some introduction for Krtek:

The Mole (called Krtek or Krteček (diminutive) in the original) is an animated character in a series of cartoons, created by Czech animator Zdeněk Miler. It was first to be seen in 1956 in Prague, when Miler wanted to create a children's cartoon about how flax is processed. He wanted a strong Disney-influence to the cartoon by choosing an animal for the leading role, and decided to pick a mole after stumbling over a molehill during a walk. The first film called "Jak krtek ke kalhotkám přišel" ("How the mole got his pants") was released in 1956, and the cute main character won itself an enormous popularity in many Eastern European countries, Germany, Austria, and China. Production for further episodes started in 1963 and since then, around 50 episodes have been created.

After been back from Germany, now I appreciate the souvenir brought by other people. Before I went oversea, whenever someone bought me something, I always wonder, "what is it?" "what's so special about all these?"

But now I understand. It's called souvenir for a reason. To remember a place or a resemblance of a place. I appreciate that a person actually took their time to look for a suitable souvenir from their tight schedule and willing to pay the extra money to get something for you rather than spend the money on themselves.

And I also realize something. It's call growing up. I'm growing up, or in other word, becoming slightly more mature compare to the old me.

I'm getting older....
