Down

I never feel so down like today. I'm usually a very optimistic person, but today I feel so down that I plan to just curl up and become a stone and stay inside my bed until the next millennium, not meeting anyone, no need to force myself to smile at them, no need to force myself to talk to them, I don't even want to listen to any voice.

Busy with work until there is no life for me. Everyday work work work and work and more work only. Never ending works. No matter how I fast I work, no matter how fast my fingers clicked on the keyboard, no matter no matter, I still cannot finish my works. I never encountered insomnia before, but can you believe it, I actually had insomnia this week. INSOMNIA, a word that never appear in my dictionary. But now, I am actually having it.

Even before sleeping, all my brain is thinking about work only. And today an incident which happened and basically threaten to crush me to the very sole of my soul. I don't know how to explain it, but I'm beginning to get very tired of my life. I'm beginning to lose hope, beginning to give up hope, beginning to see nothing good about life.

I know I should be happy, because life is short as my Guru always preach. But... Sometimes, there just happens to be a very dark cloud over you, which darken up the whole surrounding, making you suffocating until you wish you can just lose consciousness so that you don't have to feel the pain anymore.

I think I better stop now and curl up and stay inside my bed and let the darkness drown me alive.

Shopaholic on strike again!!

I'm not sure what is happening to me recently, but somehow I just couldn't stop myself from shopping. What's wrong with me??

Is it because of the stress at work? I dunno. Anyway, I had been shopping non-stop for continuously 4 weeks, I think..... And although I know I should control, but somehow I just don't care. As long as I see something that I like, I just buy it. (But do bear in mind I shop for those worth in value)

For example, the following shirt that I bought from Nicole yesterday, during Parkson member's Day, it is only RM24 (after 70% discount!!!!!)

Nice?

Update: 12-Sept 7pm

Damnit, I shop again!! I think I really need professional help now.

It's so cute. This thing is actually a name card holder

A necklace with a small pouch.... Farking Cute that I cannot resist at all...

Miri/Brunei Trip: Day 2 (Part 2)

After the delicious sushi, we went to The Mall for window shopping. But really nothing interesting. So, instead, we went and watched a movie at the cinema, the movie name: Orphan.

Remembered to take a photo with Kung Fu Panda while at the cinema.
After the scary movie, I went for the famous ice cream by Dairy Queen. The famous quote for this ice cream is "Serve it upside down or It's free". See, when the ice cream finally reached my hands, I turned it upside down, and it's really not dropping out from the cup. What I ordered was M&M ice cream. It's really very very nice.

Bought some imported groceries from Brunei to bring back to Kuching. Wakaka...

When we finally reached Miri, it's nearly 9pm at night. For the late dinner cum supper, we decided to have it at Siamese Secrets.

The following are the foods we ordered.

Merdeka Pizza, since it's Merdeka Eve that night.

Normal fries

Fish fingers

Forget what is this dish called already. Anyone can help me with this?

And that, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, the end of my second day Miri/Brunei trip.

Btw, look at the time I post this blog. ;)

Cheese and Tea, or KJ and Applely?

Meet up with old uni friend last Saturday. Went to Cheese & Tea, which is situated beside Jade Pot and The Menu. I think it's been nearly 3 years ++ I haven't meet up with KJ. Well, it's a surprise to see that he didn't change much at all.

The food we ordered that day. Didn't take the photo of Applely's food since it's normal chicken wings. It's nice to meet up with old friends. Well, after been together for nearly 5 years ( I think), they decided to take a step further. Apparently they are getting engaged soon. Congrats dear friends. =)

Miri/Brunei Trip: Day 2 (Part 1)

Actually, I'm getting a bit tired of writing long post about my trip. So, this post, I will let the pictures do the talking. ;)

Reach Gadong, Brunei. This is THE MALL. Only decent shopping complex there worth mentioning.

The shopping mall next to it. I think it's call Center Point.

Highlight of the day: EXCAPADE SUSHI

Beware: All the foods here is going to make your saliva drip non-stop. Basically, at the end of the photo, I will attach the name of the dishes we ordered. A total of 21 dishes we ordered that day (And only 6 of us eating). Well, you can imagine after my Miri/Brunei trip, where did my extra kilos came from.

I had to mention this dish. These tiny little fishes stomach is stuff full with eggs...

This is the dish I like most that day. Slipper Lobster

Lastly, another photo to piss those of you who haven't have any decent Japanese food for some time. =P

Bluek!!

Miri/Brunei Trip: Day 1 (Part 2)

Bekenu: Ikan Tuk-tuk

Next, we drove 2 hours all the way to Bekenu for our lunch after a tired golf play. The main attraction for Miri people to go all the way there is actually a famous dish called: Ikan Bertuk-tuk. (Actually I had no idea how to spell the word, just agak agak only. ;)) 100 gram of this fish costs RM9, imagine how expensive it is.

Ladies and gentlemen, here is the picture of the dish. Quite ugle, ya, I know. But don't ever judge a book by it's cover. As my friend say, this fish meat can actually melt in your mouth.

We also ordered other dished. But the next main attraction will be this prawn dish. Super nice...

This is the picture of the Bertuk-tuk fish. Very ugly I tell you. Some more it won't move at all. Just like a rock. That's why the chinese name for this fish is "Shi Tou Yu"

After a heavy lunch, we went to Bungai Beach to take a scroll. But since I'm wearing high heels, I just stay near the pathway.

Since it's hot in the afternoon, we didn't stay long at the beach. Some more the beach a lot of sand flies one. My legs got bitten and until now the red dots are still there. Hmmphh... Around 4pm we finally reach our hotel. After check in, bathe and rest, it's almost time to go out for dinner. Haha.... 3 super full meals in a day. No wonder I gain weight after coming back.

Indian Food: Zaika (Authentic North Indian Cuisine)

This restaurant is situated near Boulevard shopping mall, above Fratini's Restaurant.

What does Zaika mean? According to the shop, "Zaika means sophisticated taste and is the philosophy behind our menu. Our skilled chefs use only the freshest ingredients and finest techniques to create refined rendidion of authentic Northern Indian Cuisine. We hope that the passion, energy and innovation that we put into our cooking translates into an enjoyable and memorable experience for you at Zaika."

We ordered quite a few dishes.
1) Sunehari Kasta
2) Chicken Koliwada
3) Murg Bakhni
4) Murg Malai Kebab
5) Tandoori
6) Naan

And that's all for the night. ^_^ Stay tune for Day 2: Brunei.
