Miri/Brunei Trip: Day 3
Getting real tired of writing this travel post since I don't receive any comment at all.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Nah, this is the place where we had our brunch.
Nah, the food and drinks we ordered.
Nah, went shopping again.
Nah, went to Taman Gantung on the way to airport.
Nah, a chimpanzee photo for you, since I'm not in the mood to entertain.
Nah, some of the things I bought.
Nah, guess where is my Brunei cop?
Miri/Brunei Trip: Day 2 (Part 2)
After the delicious sushi, we went to The Mall for window shopping. But really nothing interesting. So, instead, we went and watched a movie at the cinema, the movie name: Orphan.
Remembered to take a photo with Kung Fu Panda while at the cinema.
After the scary movie, I went for the famous ice cream by Dairy Queen. The famous quote for this ice cream is "Serve it upside down or It's free". See, when the ice cream finally reached my hands, I turned it upside down, and it's really not dropping out from the cup. What I ordered was M&M ice cream. It's really very very nice.
When we finally reached Miri, it's nearly 9pm at night. For the late dinner cum supper, we decided to have it at Siamese Secrets.
And that, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, the end of my second day Miri/Brunei trip.
Btw, look at the time I post this blog. ;)
Miri/Brunei Trip: Day 1 (Part 2)
Bekenu: Ikan Tuk-tuk
Ladies and gentlemen, here is the picture of the dish. Quite ugle, ya, I know. But don't ever judge a book by it's cover. As my friend say, this fish meat can actually melt in your mouth.
We also ordered other dished. But the next main attraction will be this prawn dish. Super nice...
After a heavy lunch, we went to Bungai Beach to take a scroll. But since I'm wearing high heels, I just stay near the pathway.
We ordered quite a few dishes.
1) Sunehari Kasta
2) Chicken Koliwada
3) Murg Bakhni
4) Murg Malai Kebab
5) Tandoori
6) Naan
And that's all for the night. ^_^ Stay tune for Day 2: Brunei.
Next, we drove 2 hours all the way to Bekenu for our lunch after a tired golf play. The main attraction for Miri people to go all the way there is actually a famous dish called: Ikan Bertuk-tuk. (Actually I had no idea how to spell the word, just agak agak only. ;)) 100 gram of this fish costs RM9, imagine how expensive it is.
This is the picture of the Bertuk-tuk fish. Very ugly I tell you. Some more it won't move at all. Just like a rock. That's why the chinese name for this fish is "Shi Tou Yu"
Since it's hot in the afternoon, we didn't stay long at the beach. Some more the beach a lot of sand flies one. My legs got bitten and until now the red dots are still there. Hmmphh... Around 4pm we finally reach our hotel. After check in, bathe and rest, it's almost time to go out for dinner. Haha.... 3 super full meals in a day. No wonder I gain weight after coming back.
Indian Food: Zaika (Authentic North Indian Cuisine)
Miri/Brunei Trip: Day 1 (Part 1)
Flying off to Miri on a nice Saturday morning at 7am, which is very early in the morning. Managed to see sun rise inside the aeroplane. Using MAS airline this time. The return ticket is RM100 only, so cheap. That's one of the reason I decided to travel to Miri/Brunei. Hehe...
After landed in Miri, my old uni mate came and picked me, my bro and his friend up from the airport. Since it's still early and our hotel's room was still not ready yet, we decided to go to Boulevard restaurant for dimsum as breakfast.
Nice delicious breakfast. Yum~ After breakfast, the time was still 9.30am, we decided to go play golf instead, while waiting for our hotel room to be ready at 12noon. =) This is actually the first time I ever play golf or touched a golf club.
