Google is today celebrating the 115th anniversary of the discovery of X-rays.

X-rays were discovered in 1895 by Wilhelm Conrad Roentgen, a German scientist who found them by accident when experimenting with cathode rays.

A Nightmare on Elm Street

Saw this at the Spring today. Characters from the movie "A nightmare on Elm Street".

Too bad this photo turned out to be blurred. Can't really blame the photographer too since he's sick.

So I can only blamed my "bad luck".

Pray silently: Hope I won't get any nightmare tonight.... Please please please......

Halloween @ 2010

Google's logo for Halloween today....

Halloween (or Hallowe'en) is an annual holiday observed on October 31, primarily in Canada, Ireland, the United States and the United Kingdom. It has roots in the Celtic festival of Samhain and the Christian holiday All Saints' Day, but is today largely a secular celebration.

Common Halloween activities include trick-or-treating, wearing costumes and attending costume parties, carving jack-o'-lanterns, ghost tours, bonfires, apple bobbing, visiting haunted attractions, committing pranks, telling ghost stories or other frightening tales, and watching horror films.

Spielzeugmuseum @ Munich

After visiting Oktoberfest, we went walked around Marienplatz and saw this museum, Spielzeug and Teddymuseum. Door fee is EURO3 and you are free to roam the 5 floors of toys.

The "thing" that attracts us to go in is because it was written at it's billboard, it's barbie doll 50 years old birthday. Apparently barbie doll was created or born at the year 1949.

We went up and down the building using a super small lift. I think the building was build maybe during 40-50 years ago. So it's kind of scary when I went into the small lift.

At every different floor, there was different type of toys available. And it provides explanation both in German and English. You can get a very good idea what does children in 1950s had as toys.

Old fashioned doll house

Old fashioned barbie dolls. lol...

A lot of teddy bears...

Popeyes. haha...

I like this one, ferris wheels. Must be rich family children's toy

More toys....

Sesame Street Google Logo so Cute

It's the picture of COOKIE MONSTER from Sesame street. Basically I grew up watching sesame street and learning some simple english word there. Isn't it a bit hard to believe that sesame street has been with us for 40 years and yet Elmo or Cookie Monster or the Yellow bird still looks terribly the same. That's a bit scary lah...

UPDATE *6-Nov*

Another Sesame Street characters at Google Logo..... Awwwwwww.........

Amethyst Crystal

Received another registered mail on Friday. The postman was honking outside the house, but I was too busy being a "pig" in my bed. In the end, it's my bro who went down and get the mail for me.

What a surprise when I see the letter is from e-World Gift Dot Com again! I thought I already receive the free gift a couple of weeks ago. Did they make a mistake and send me double free gift? (Yahoo!!)

And so I opened the letter. This time however, there is a small card inside.

It's actually a free gift because I actually publish it on my blog.

Very pretty decoration/wrapper

This time, I received a Amethyst.

When Grandma Goes To Court

Lawyers should never ask a Mississippi grandma a question if they aren't prepared for the answer.

In a trial, a Southern small-town prosecuting attorney called his first witness, a grandmotherly, elderly woman to the stand. He approached her and asked, "Mrs. Jones, do you know me?" She responded, "Why, yes, I do know you, Mr. Williams. I've known you since you were a boy, and frankly, you've been a big disappointment to me. You lie, you cheat on your wife, and you manipulate people and talk about them behind their backs. You think you're a big shot when you haven't the brains to realize you'll never amount to anything more than a two-bit paper pusher. Yes, I know you."

The lawyer was stunned. Not knowing what else to do, he pointed across the room and asked, "Mrs. Jones, do you know the defense attorney?"

She again replied, "Why yes, I do. I've known Mr. Bradley since he was a youngster, too. He's lazy, bigoted, and he has a drinking problem. He can't build a normal relationship with anyone, and his law practice is one of the worst in the entire state. Not to mention he cheated on his wife with three different women. One of them was your wife. Yes, I know him."

The defense attorney nearly died.

The judge asked both counselors to approach the bench and, in a very quiet voice, said,

"If either of you idiots asks her if she knows me, I'll send you both to the electric chair."

OMG, this is so funny.... I still found it funny when I'm typing this out. Haha..

I feel like a SUPERSTAR

I'm totally, unquestionably, insanely addicted to it. It makes me feel superb, like a superstar. Hehe...

OMG, a billboard at LA has the photo of me?? That photo was taken during a scene I made for the series "Travel and Taste". I can't believe the series is such a HIT at LA.

HAH?? A famous building in NY is having a mural painting of me?? That photo was taken when I was having an adventure at one of the virgin forest at Africa. I was shooting a movie somewhere there when I decide to take a break and go jungle trekking instead. I had no idea who send my photo to them.

VOGUE?? And I'm the cover girl? *Jumping up and down, screaming the house down* That scene was taken when I was doing the series "Travel and Taste" at one of the famous restaurant at Beijing. A free trip to those who can guess which restaurant. ;)

During my trip to Rome, I saw this talented sketcher at the roadside. Can't resist this handsome guy's 1000 MW eyes. So, I decided to ask him to sketch a picture of me.

*Fainted* David Beckham officially think I'm prettier than his wife. Thus, the proof.

Okie, okie. I CONFESS. It's all fake. Whatever I had talked above is a lie. None of it happens and I'm a nobody who like to dream about the impossible. (obviously)

But but......... It's FUN. Omg, I'm addicted to it. I read about it from nicolekiss. The link is to the real website is HERE.

Fun things during Thailand Trip

1. Funny and quirky T-shirt, which is only available at Thailand.

*Warning* Not for those 18 age and below.

2. The POPCORN variety when you go to watch a movie at the cinema. This is the first time I ever see so many popcorn available for me to choose. There's caramel, b-b-q and salted popcorn. Thai people are really spoilt for choices. How I wish the cinema here provide such variety. The caramel popcorn is SUPERB.

3. Any type of costumes available to make ur "bedroom love" a bit more sizzling.

*Warning* Not for those 18 age and below.

4. Eating a Cornetto ice-cream at Bangkok street.

5. Learning some yoga poses via statues.

6. Need to charge your handphone but forget to bring your handphone charger? Worry not! At Bangkok, u can charge ur phone at this booth as long as u have the money.

7. Really need to go to the toilet? That's the correct sign.

8. Say "Sawatdee Kaa" to McDonald from Thailand. A McD with hands clasping together sign only available from Thailand. Besides, I saw all the famous bloggers such as nicolekiss and kennysia all took photo with this McD. I just can't miss the oppurtunity.

Greetings from Thailand. Wanna try out McD's pork burger?
