Miri/Brunei Trip: Day 1 (Part 1)

Flying off to Miri on a nice Saturday morning at 7am, which is very early in the morning. Managed to see sun rise inside the aeroplane. Using MAS airline this time. The return ticket is RM100 only, so cheap. That's one of the reason I decided to travel to Miri/Brunei. Hehe...

After landed in Miri, my old uni mate came and picked me, my bro and his friend up from the airport. Since it's still early and our hotel's room was still not ready yet, we decided to go to Boulevard restaurant for dimsum as breakfast.

Nice delicious breakfast. Yum~ After breakfast, the time was still 9.30am, we decided to go play golf instead, while waiting for our hotel room to be ready at 12noon. =) This is actually the first time I ever play golf or touched a golf club.

Ta~ Da~ I'm standing on the gold course now.

Reached the nice green field: - Eastwood Valley, Golf and Country Club.

Nice pretty scenery around the golf course.

Went into the toilet and visited the shower room. Super nice right?

Pricing: 100 balls = RM10. By this time, my uni friends called out another 5 friends and we purchased around 5oo balls altogether for like 1.5 hours?

Of course have to pose playing golf at the driving range. Cheers..... (Try another new exciting stuff, playing golf. =) But I have to warn you, it's not easy as it looks)

The furthest my balls can fly is within the 50m range. @_@

Seafood porn

Dear all, I was away on holiday (either at Miri or Brunei now). This is a scheduled post. Enjoy yourself!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
One of the night, our family went out for dinner. The food that night is mainly seafood. The food that night was so delicious, especially the fish (I think it's call Pak Tin) and lobster. Wah, my mouth watery thinking about the fish and tender lobster meat now.
All the lobster, crabs and fish was caught just a few hours before the dinner. Meaning it's very very fresh. No wonder it tastes so good that night. All you have to do is bring the catches to any restaurant that is willing to cook it for you. Usually the restaurant will charge RM10-20 for each dish.
Little Cottage
Found this new eating place besides Kuching Specialist Hospital. The eating place is situated inside a normal house, which might be a bit hard to find if you are first timer. We managed to find this eating area because one of our colleagues went there for lunch before.
The environment inside the place is very antique and "Sarawakian" feel. In fact, it's quite conducive having lunch at this place.
See, the interior design nice right. For your information, all the stuffs inside the place are for sale. You can actually purchase most of the items, although price wise in my opinion is quite expensive. Hehe... I'm a middle class income group, just barely above lower class income group.
Ta~ Da~ The food that we order. All the set lunch is priced at RM7. The drink is around RM4.9 since we ordered ice chocolate. However, bear in mind that the ice chocolate is so rich that by the time u finish ur lunch and go back to work, you will definitely feel so bloated and sleepy until maybe 3.30pm. So, I won't recommend this place if you have an urgent meeting in the afternoon.
