My breakfast

My lovely breakfast prepared by Da Phui. He is the one who is very particular about having a good and hearty breakfast. No matter what happened, he will have to eat a nice breakfast with his kopi 'peng' only then will he be satisfied.

On the other hand, I'm totally the opposite. I don't mind skipping my breakfast. I loved my sleep more than my breakfast. Which resulted in my bad habit of sleeping until the last min in the morning then only will I wake up in a rush and go to office. A habit that I learn during uni time when my parents are not living with me. =P

But now that my stomach has accustomed back with breakfast every morning except Sunday, I will start to feel dizzy by 9 or 10 am if I didn't eat anything. But then I'm still not willing to change my habit of waking up at the very (VERY) last minute. Nothing can be sacrifice when it comes to my beauty sleep.

Happy Weekend

I had a happy weekend. Although I need to come to work on Saturday morning, but luckily it's only half day as there is another engineer on duty that day. After that went to Hopoh to eat KFC and collect Ah Phui's new spec.

After that drove around Kch and saw the banner showing 1st Kuching Expo 2010 at Hills shopping mall. So we dropped by Hills and just leisure there while taking our time to see the exhibition.

Another thing that made my day was that I received two presents. Two new necklaces for a small anniversary. Hehe..

Then on Sunday night time went to Jalan Song Peach Garden for our dinner. Two people eat only but we ordered 5 dishes.

After that went One Jaya for a walk while trying to digest off the food. I heard a few comments from my friends about the shops here selling quite reasonable price clothing so I went there for a motive to shop if I managed. In the end I do manage to buy the following after walking around for an hour like that. Too bad I cannot extend my window shopping anymore as my driver is sick with flu + fever. Hope he recovers soon.

Oct shop

Nothing very special for October. The only thing is that I manage to eat the Kim Bays western food that was introduced by DD at Boulevard.

Bought one short pants at 50% discount. But in my opinion still expensive. It's RM40.50 after discount for such a non catchy pants.







A shirt paid by Ah Phui. hehe... He was threatened by me since I was in a bad mood and so he literally agrees with everything I want. haha...

Communication Gap

At a cross junction traffic light, Ah Phui stopped the car as the traffic light is showing red.

Ah Phui: Can I turn?
Rainbow: (Look at the traffic light, notice there is an arrow key) Can, there is an arrow key for turning.
Ah Phui: Now I can turn is it?
Rainbow: (A bit frustrated) Ya, there is an arrow key for turning.
Ah Phui: Aiyoh, I know there is an arrow key, what I’m asking is that whether I can turn when it’s still red light?

At that time the traffic light turn green.

Ah Phui: No need liao.
Rainbow: I thought you ask me whether can turn or not.
Ah Phui: I also can see there’s an arrow key there lah, the question I ask if whether I can turn while it’s still red because sometimes there is an instruction saying turn left if clear.

Rainbow: ….. OH…

Rainbow reached the airport while waiting for her mum and sends a text message to Ah Phui.

“I decided to go pick up my mum from the airport instead since it’s near to her arrival time. Reach airport liao. Listening to my fm now”

3 min later…

“Drive safely ya BB”

Annoyed,
“Aiyoh, I say I already at airport lor.. Waiting for my mum now.”

“I know you at airport. Later still need to drive back bah”

Repo Men 2010

Today, Fat Pig and I watched a long overdue movie called Repo Men. He somehow managed to download it despite his area sucks Digi 3G line and it's a uncensored version.

Basically this is the storyline: In the near future, if your organ failed and need to be replaced, there's a "organization" that can actually provide you an artificial organ and keep you alive. But the trouble is it's high cost. However, you can actually opt to pay the debt over a period of time with certain amount of interest. (Sounds familiar? Credit card? Bank loan?) Basically, once you cannot pay for the high maintenance, they sent out Repo Men to rip your body open and pull the organ out.

It's kind of gross with a lot of blood scene. Even the Fat Pig tore his eyes away from the laptop screen, where as I was keeping my eyes on the screen without trying to grimace or gag.

However, there's a twist to the ending of this movie which was wholly unexpected even for me. I just cannot believe that is the ending of the story. I mean what is the moral or objective this movie is trying to tell us? That what Repo Men is doing is all legal and it will continue? Sound to me like legal loan shark is allowed to operate in broad day light.

From Germany

I'm truly sorry for the lack of update recently. Has been super busy with my sister wedding until I have no time for myself. Will be flying off tomorrow to Miri for my sis wedding reception + dinner. Then next week, flying off again to Bali. Yahoo!!

Really need the time for relaxing. Recently I'm not sure what is happening in the office but looks like everyone is on the verge of exploding. If not exploding, it's near the verge of maximum "sien"ness. Maybe vitamin M not enough? lol...

Anyway, none of my business. My mood is still ok except that I'm kind of tired due to all those thing happening in my house because of my sis wedding. But apart from that, I'm good. Besides, I just received some souvenir from Bee. Imported straight from Germany. Haha..
