Voir Pants, Big Apple Donuts, and Earth Hour

Since Friday is my off day, and it's one day after pay day, I might treat myself a bit better although the salary that was credited into my account was peanuts this time. Reach there around noon after stuck in the traffic jam for half an hour, met up with my colleague then we go for Suganbun for lunch.

It's been a while I ate at Suganbun. So, I ordered the ever famous fish and chips. But the truth is, the food is so-so only lor in my opinion. I still prefer KFC, then McDonald. =P

Next we roam around inside Parkson, looking at cosmetics stuff. And the blur blur me actually misunderstood the yellow voucher I had is available for cosmetics only, but instead it is for all the parkson stuff except cosmetics. In the end, I decided to buy a khaki long pants. Hehe....

Original price = RM109.90.
But since it's bonuslink member's day, it's 50% discount + another 20% discount. So, the price I paid for the pant is only RM32.97. With my RM30 voucher, I only need to pay extra 3 ringgit only. Three, tiga, san!!!! I'm so happy.....

Parkson was filled with attractive discount that afternoon. I was a little pissed off because of the salary cut. If not, I think I will have a wonderful time browsing through the clothes and buy one or two extra clothes to add in to my wardrobe, without having to worry that I might burn a hole in my pocket. Instead, all I can do is choose one that is the same price as my free voucher.

Anyway, after walking for the whole afternoon, we stop by Big Apple Donuts & Coffee for a drink and donut. My drink, which is the Apple Iced Tea is quite nice in my opinion. However, I can't say the same about the donut. It taste just like other donut that you can buy from the bakery shop.

And I'm currently supporting the Earth hour, by switching off my lamps, leaving the fan on and of course, the power to my laptop. Can't go out with the usual excuse of "Money not enough" and I think I'm going to get depression very soon if this continues......

To do or not to do... Life is difficult sometimes

Sometimes, I just don't have any interesting update at all, like now. And I really salute those who can post 2~3 entries per day. It's seems like my life is just boring.. Or is it that I lost my initial desire for blogging after blogging for a year plus?

Born under the star of Cancer, I have to admit, my love or my interest or my passion usually don't last long. When it first started, the feeling is intense. Like when I first decided to blog, I have to write a post everyday, sometimes writting the blog in Miscrosoft Word or Notepad, then copy and paste it in my blog when the colleagues sitting next to me is not noticing. But now, even during my off day when I'm online, I just don't feel like writing at all.

Maybe at first blogging was a way for me to express my feeling. To express the anger that I felt, the "tulan"ness of working, the helplessness of life, or the bias way of life. However, as time passes, my blog is not as private as I hope it would be in the first place. Now, not only my friends are reading this blog, but some of the colleagues too, whom I prefer to keep some of the stuff I am going to write here a secret from them.

I did think about creating a new blog, but then how about this blog? Do I still maintain this blog and tell about daily activity which I can share with others and another blog where only a certain group of people can access? But then I know myself... I'm not a person with very strong determination. I know I won't be able to care for two blogs at the same time without ignoring one of it.

So, in the end, I decided to maintain the current blog. However, nothing too private anymore in this blog as I'm afraid some of the post might actually offend someone.

Hmmm.. an update of my weekend. Am reading the book Angels & Demons by Dan Brown at the moment. Remember the author of the book Da Vinci Code? I am totally engross with the book now. The only non-prefect thing is that the book is actually in softcopy. Which mean I need to open the laptop in order to read it. I wont be able to read it lying down in my bed before bedtime in comfort. Well, that's the only complain I had at the moment considering that I got that book for free, which mean I don't have to pay a single cent to read this book. Guess, I have to be content with it at the moment. Until I'm rich (or financially independent), then I can buy any books that I like without waiting for the Popular bookshop to have sales or applying for the membership card.

Ya, sometimes, life s_cks. Just accept it...

I wonder what is happening to me? Too much stress recently? Or is it money not enough? Or is it finally I realize that the world is harsh?

Time for some jokes

FML = F**k My Life

*

Today, my boss told me that I was hired because of how much I reminded him of his daughter. Taking this as a compliment, I mentioned it to a co-worker who I was trying to impress. I later found out that my boss’ daughter is both clinically obese and mentally challenged. FML

*

Today, I had drunk sex with a girl that I barely know I didn't have a condom and was nervous about getting her pregnant, but she assured me that I could pull out. Right when I was about to pull out, she wrapped her legs around me and yelled, "Be my baby's daddy!" I couldn't get out in time. FML

Today, I went to my guidance counselor and told her how I'd been fascinated with space since I was 12, had read about the universe and everything, and how I want to be an astrologist when I grow up. She stared at me for a second, before saying, "But you're... stupid." FML

*

Today, I was at this awesome party and I was dancing with this really attractive girl who started making out with me all of a sudden. Five minutes later, my friend told me that the girl had just given him a blowjob. FML

*

Today, I was writing an email to our entire company regarding a fundraiser we are taking part in for children and adults with disabilities. I was rushing to get the email out and hit send before I realized that instead of "Best Regards" I had typed "Best Retards" as the closing line. FML

*

Today, I found out my four best friends are going to Florida for spring break without me. When asked why I was not invited to go with them the answer I received was, "we don't think you would look very good in a bathing suit, and we want to be able to pick up cute guys on the beach." FML

*

Today, I was working at Target when an old woman asked me if I could help her find her favorite bra. I proceeded to ask what brand it was when she replied "I'll check the tag". She lifted up the front of her shirt, and flipped one cup of her bra inside out. I saw everything. FML

*

Today, I was driving down the road when I got to a red light. I looked over and saw a hot chick in a convertible so I spoke to my window thinking she couldn't hear me "Hey girl, I may have a tiny dick but I make up for it in speed and stamina." She looked over. I forgot about the sunroof. FML

*

Today, I went on a walk with the guy I like. He held my hand, so I decided to tell him that I had feelings for him. He said that he had feelings for me too. I smiled and leaned in to kiss him. He put his hand on my face and pushed it away, and said "until your acne clears, we are NOT together." FML

*

Today, I was sitting on my 70 year old grandmothers bed with my older brother. I decided to snoop through the cabinet at the back of her bed, and I pulled out what I naively thought was a strange looking flashlight. When I twisted the bottom of it to see what would happen it started vibrating. FML

*

Today, I drove to Bank of America to deposit money. Upon returning to my car I saw some random new scratches on the front. I proceeded to kick and rub it to try and get rid of it. Then I notice someone in the car staring at me in bewilderment. I'd parked 2 spaces away. We have the same car. FML

*

Today, my mother told me she didn't want my girlfriend spending the night anymore. I asked why, she said she heard us doing the nasty the night before and I denied it, hoping I could call her bluff. She paused for a moment and proceeded to moan EXACTLY like my girlfriend does. FML

Short Talk

I stumble into this blog tonight and there it is....

The Quote of the Day!!!!

"In certain places like office the higher you climb the more crap coming out from your mouth, whether is out of your intentional desire or is your consciousness taking a nap, only yourself know, but the fact don't change, it is just pure crap."

How true.... I salute this phrase.

Crime Rate Increase

I am not sure it is because of the worsen economy, apparently the crime rate at Kuching has actually increase. (In my opinion, no concrete proof)

This is because recently I kept on hearing stories (real life story) from my friends and relative that their car got break in because they left their bags in it. This afternoon, my brother sms me that the car got break in and his school bags got stolen at King Center area, Da Lai.

Luckily he followed his friend's car to Da Lai, which means it's his friend's car that is broken in. Bear in mind that my bro and his uni fren transfer all their bags into the bonnet at Swinburne before going to eat. Meaning those thief meaning standby there and wait for "potential" people to take the bait.

And previously, I heard from one of my church fren that her car got break in too, when she is having lunch with her family. Walao eh, in broad afternoon at the parking slot besides a busy road. ~_~

Really, what is happening to this small peaceful city?

I really cannot stand this!!

I hate it especially when people try to be "all-knowing-they-are-smarter-than-u-lalala". I think this people should really keep their mouth shut! You should do this, you should do that, bla bla bla. Hey, I'm the one deciding what should my action gonna be. Not you, ok?! If I needed your advice, I will ask for one.

Scenario #1

Ah Beng
: You know, rainbow, you should do like this etc for your future.

Ah Liang
: Did I ask for ur opinion? And how do you know I din do anything abt the current situation?

Another case will be those old and not-so-old people. They always think that they eat salt more than you eat rice. (Chinese Saying) So, they will start ordering around. F#ck! Don't order ppl to do work for you. Do it yourself. You got hands and legs apart from your big mouth!

Scenario #2

Ah Beng
: Someone's birthday is coming soon. You should celebrate. Go eat. Buy birthday cake. Go pick bla bla bla up at bla bla bla time, book which restaurant, don't order this, order this, etc..

and the list go on.

Ah Liang
: If you want to celebrate, by all mean go and DO it yourself. I'm not your servant. And if I do decide to celebrate, I will do it in my OWN way, not your way. Get it?

I really don't understand this traditional, ASIAN culture. First, they assume they are almighty know more than you do. Second, they treat you like you are an invalid or mentally retard. Third, they want you to be like them.

And the ironic part is when u try to be like them, they either say u r easily influence, or u don't have any stand at all. I was like, WTF?!?!

Stamps, Money Collection

As usual, Friday is my off day. Off day really cannot stay at home one. Must go out kia kia or eat something = spending money. Sigh... Really have to change this habit after pay cut. Anyway, today my cousins are in Kuching, so, as the host, I bring them out for lunch. After lunch, they say they want to go Saberkas, so, I dropped them there and walked alone for my own while they shop.

While walking, I spotted this. An exhibition of stamps and foregin currency, on SALE!! which is organized by the SPNS, Sarawak Philatelic and Numismatic Society.

At the basement of Saberkas.

Stamps selling at 20cents each. Hmm.. I wonder can I sell my collection of stamps?

Hong Kong notes selling at RM85. I asked the saleman what is the purpose of buying the notes? He say for collection. Hmm... I might as well get it at the currency exchange right?

So many zeros....... With this, I'm a millionaire

Old coins selling at RM4 each. Like the Malaysia Square shape 1 cent. The uncle there told me, see, this money is from 1958, even older than you. Can keep for collection. Cheh, then I might as well keep the one cent money now (which not in use anymore) and sell it at 4 ringgit 20 years from now.

And the funny part is that, I actually saw Jay Chow's stamp selling there,

at the price of RM49.00

p/s: pls ignore my slipper in the photo.

Clinique, 3-step skin care system

What is the feeling of spending extravagantly?

HAPPY!!

Tremendously happy, especially after holding back and not spending for a month plus due to the economy recession. From my previous blog, I mentioned that I would like to reward myself for my 3-year working anniversary. The most popular vote is Levi's Jean, follow by Spa/Facial.

I went to search for Levi's last weekend, but unfortunately there is no jeans with the style/pattern that I love. So, I opted for spa/facial. So, on Friday, I made an appointment to do 2 packages.

1) Spa & Back Massage
2) Deep cleansing Facial

However, on Saturday, I couldn't resist myself and go search for a skin care product at the Spring. After searching through for 2 hours, this is what I brought back.

TA~ DA~ (Quite a lot right? Tee hehe... I'm so happy that I'm actually whistling now while typing this)

First: Cleansing facial soap

Second: Clarifying lotion aka Toner

Third: Mosturiser. ^_^

Others: Lip gloss, cosmetics bag, small mask tube, some sample, eye cream.

This afternoon, I went for my appointment at The Scents. Rating: Spa: Very good. Back Massage: Painful. Facial: Even more painful. Now I touched my nose, I wring in pain.

TOTAL AMOUNT SPENT ON ONE WEEKEND FOR MYSELF ~RM500.

Wahaha... Let's hope I still got my job next month as I'm paying using credit card. @_@ Whoever created credit card, you are awesome! I really don't feel the impact of spending RM500 at all because I did not take out any cash...

Now, the problem is I have RM30 worth of cash vouchers from Parkson (Cosmetics and Fragrance department) which I don't need it. Anyone willing to exchange it for cash? Pls?
